Word on the street is that THQ, creator of the video game Destroy All Humans, is planning on turning the game into a movie.

Umm … I hate to break it to ya, THQ, but it already is. It was called Mars Attacks!

I actually assumed that was the basis for the game. So now we’re going to make a movie based on a game based on a movie? We’re getting dangerously close to Coupling territory — the American version of the show was based on the British show, which was based on the American show Friends.

After awhile, it truly begins to boggle the mind…

But how about this, THQ? I hear there’s a movie called Doom coming out soon — Marines fighting monsters on Mars; it sounds a lot like Halo actually.

I bet it sure would make a kick-ass video game.
