The Missing Link

It’s going to be a sad Christmas for Nintendo fans. Originally expected to ship for the holidays to combat the Xbox 360, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess has been pushed back to a spring release … where it will likely combat the PS3.

Zelda fans are left
hungry like the wolf

I’ve long accepted that the Gamecube is nothing but a first-party machine, but Nintendo’s franchises have always been enough to get me to dust it off every few months. But what exactly is going to sell the system this winter with no Mario, no Metroid and now no Zelda? Somehow, I don’t think Mario Party 7 is going to do it.

I just hope Twilight Princess isn’t overshadowed by the Sony juggernaut, as it will likely be far more engaging than any PS3 launch titles, no matter how new and shiny they are.
