Judging a book by its cover

Jacket art for the final Harry Potter was released yesterday, and I’ve never been prouder to be an American. Seriously, what is up with the U.K. editions? The adult version (center) looks like a V.C. Andrews novel, and the kids one (right) looks like a Mad Magazine parody. But I’m not sure anything could top the hideousness of the French version of The Sorcerer’s Stone.

Damn the French, they ruin everything! Seriously, that is terrible. Its like Harry Potter for toddlers.
